If you haven’t been playing the various episodes of Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People, there’s a new supplemental website to help get you interested. In order to help promote Dangeresque 3, the fourth episode of the series, a Videlectrix site has been launched and a Flash game called Dangeresque Roomisode 1: Behind the Dangerdesque has been released.
Dangeresque Roomisode 1: Behind the Dangerdesque is a free game that’s designed to look like an old school video game title. The “promise” from Videlectrix is that each Roomisodic Gaming episode will provide a several minutes of entertainment. In reality, its like a brief example of the humorous point-and-click adventures you will find in the Strong Bad episodes from Telltale Games.
You’re Dangeresque, Strong Bad as an action hero/detective. You’re locked in Dangeresque’s office until you solve a case that’s on the bulletin board. Once you meet all the requirements in the case file, Dangeresque is freed and you win. Its pretty simple, with the keyboard controlling Dangeresque’s movements and the mouse used to point and click stuff.
It’s pretty fun, but I think it will take you more than several minutes to beat Dangeresque Roomisode 1: Behind the Dangerdesque. It took me about fifteen minutes. Once you’re done, I recommend roaming around the fake Videlectrix site – its funny.
