Sony is finally ready to bring the Home Beta to PS3 players – and not a day too soon. Joystiq is reporting that Sony reps have confirmed that “launch is imminent” and that the open-world/social gaming interface will enter public open beta by the end of the month. It’s been in the works forever, and it looks like it’ll just barely squeak by by the end of 2008.
So get ready, PS3 people. Home has enormous promise to live up to, so we shall soon see if it was worth the wait.
