Happy Holidays! PopCap delivers a free Holiday 2008 level pack for Peggle Nights

Who likes free stuff? We like free stuff! Especially around the holidays. Apparently, PopCap understands this, as they have released a free Holiday 2008 level pack for Peggle Nights. Maybe the company realized that people might be (gasp) neglecting games and thought a freebie would lure people back. Its a pretty sweet deal – there are five new quick play levels and an additional 10 challenge levels. The new levels and challenges are all holiday and/or PopCap game themed, so it should be festive. But really, it’s free add-on, downloadable content – even if it wasn’t festive, people wouldn’t be complaining.

As Voodoo Extreme points out, this free level pack download works with any version of Peggle Nights. So it doesn’t matter if you get the $10 full version from Stream, or the $19.95 full version from PopCap itself. It’s even compatible with the free trial version of Peggle Nights, though you’ll only get two new levels if you only have the free version.

The download’s super tiny and an incredibly quick download, so if you have Peggle Nights you really should download it. After all, it’s only 1.08mb! Its smaller than an mp3. Besides, it may not be free after Christmas is over. Shacknews points out that PopCap has decreed this level pack is worth $3.95.
