Natalie Brooks: The Treasures of the Lost Kingdom
Alawar Entertainment is continuing the Natalie Brooks series of games, which began with Natalie Brooks: Secrets of Treasure House, and has just released Natalie Brooks: The Treasures of the Lost Kingdom. This casual seek and find/puzzle game has players stepping into Natalie’s footsteps to save her kidnapped archaeologist grandfather by finding a treasure map, undoing a curse and learning about a ghost train. Quite complicated, for a teenage detective.

There’s also no need to worry about continuity, if you didn’t play the first game. Alawar states that, while Natalie Brooks is the star in all entries in the series, the games aren’t related to one another so you won’t miss out on any subtle nuances.

You better buy it quickly, if you’re interested. There’s a sale at Alawar’s site – if you enter the coupon code ALAW-BOJE-CCFA at the checkout on an order made before December 31, 2008, you’ll get 30% off the price. Normally, Natalie Brooks: The Treasures of the Lost Kingdom would cost $19.95, so wouldn’t it be great to get a discount? Of course there is also a free demo, for sampling purposes. It only lasts one hour though, so make sure you have plenty of time to play before you start it.

Its only for Windows PCs, but specific requirements aren’t listed on the game page. Perhaps downloading the demo would be best – that way you’ll know for sure if it will run on your system.
