End of year lists aren’t just for pomp and circumstance – they also exist to honor the men and women who make the games we love possible. GameDaily has put together a list of the year’s ten top person’s of the year – those who have made the best decisions, done the best work, and put together the most unforgettable experiences of 2008.
In part one, the editors named numbers six through ten – Alex Rigopulos, the Harmonix mastermind, EA’s John Riccitiello, Valve’s always fantastic Gabe Newell, Yves Guillemot from Ubisoft and Steve Jobs – the Apple mastermind. I couldn’t agree more with putting Jobs on the list – the iPhone’s incredible (and fast!) success as a platform is testament to Apple’s masterful marketing power. Good on you, guys.
Part two should be up soon, with GameDaily’s top five picks.
