GRUVme a groovy place for internet gaming

Most of us are on break right now from work and school, and could use a little entertainment. Why not play some internet games?

GRUVme is a website that has offers 1000 Flash and animation games from several different genres, including adventure and shooting. They are all short but sweet and should keep you entertained for a many hours. You may have seen or even played some of these internet games before, but it is still nice to have them all in one place.

GRUV games is a part of the bigger GRUVme website which houses games, music and media downloading. You can download and listen to thousands of songs and videos from your PC, Blackberry and iPods whenever you want. GRUVme puts music and games all in one convenient place for you.

All of the games were submitted by users and some were even created by them. Anyone who registers for the site can submit a game by filling out a form found at the bottom the screen. You don’t need to download anything to play the games because they open up in a seperate window, and they will run on any computer. You can set the quality on most games. All of the games are free to play and some come with a download feature, for a price, so you can own the version of the game.

You’re not going to find Fallout 3 on here but you will find some rather addictive games including Penguin Swing (where you smack a penguin with baseball bat to send him flying as far as you can) and Coffee Tycoon (where you manage a coffee shop, but new stores and drinks, hire new employees and just make money).

You can also find some fun “search and find” games in the adventure’s section, as well as classic RPG style games like Shadow of the warrior, where you pick you class, buy weapons, and other such things.

There are also some fun, quirky games like Hang Alien which is the same as Hangman but with an alien. Also Bolder Bash, where you have to drop a bolder on a criminal to stop him form escaping.

There are even quiz games on here like Quiz Chrono where Crono from Chrono Trigger asks you questions about music from old Nintendo games.

Sign up to the site is simple, and best of all free! All you have to do is create a user. name, password, and have a valid email address (which everyone should have by now.)

GRUVme is definitely a great place to kill a few hours while waiting for the all the snow to melt or for the huge shopping lines to die down.
