In this season of gifting, returning and exchanging, retailers are offering post-holiday sales in order to step up consumer spending. But the very best game deals you’re going to find this week aren’t at your typical retail store – they’re on the already reasonable Steam, and my lord, they’re good.
The service is offering everything in the store at a discount (from 10-75% off the usual prices), and there are some sweet, sweet deals in there. As mentioned at 1Up, two of 2007′s best games, BioShock and Portal, are an absolute steal at $4.99 each, while newer games like Left 4 Dead ($37.49) and Fallout 3 ($39.99) are at a smaller (but still nice) discount. You’ll need to act fast though – this is only in effect until January 2nd.
On a side note, I’ve been playing through BioShock again the last couple of days. Nothing says Christmas like bringing down a big daddy.
