In case you didn’t get what you wanted this Christmas, and didn’t get any cash or gift cards to get yourself what you wanted, there’s still a chance to get a little something special for yourself. Addictive247 has just released the freeware game Ten Ton Ninja, an action puzzle game involving a ninja with a slight glandular problem.
The goal in each level of Ten Ton Ninja is to help the overweight ninja swing his way through the level via his grappling hook, while also collecting gems and either avoiding or crushing enemies. If you do well, you can submit your score to see if you’re one of the top 50 ninjas. There are 32 levels included in the game, plus three more available to download on the official site. The game also comes with a level editor, so you can make new levels and also share them with other users. Not bad for a free game.
It’s also a fairly quick download. It’s only 19.1mb. System requirements aren’t listed anywhere, but I had no trouble running the game on my Windows Vista laptop, so I’m going to guess that as long as you have a PC with a fairly recent version of Windows, you’ll be fine. Since the download is so small, it wouldn’t take that long to give it a try and see if it works for your system.
If Ten Ton Ninja doesn’t thrill you, take a peek at Addictive247′s other games. There are quite a few other freeware games, and there are free demos available of its full games. I’d say check out Skin & Bones as well, it looks promising.
