Talk of the Nation teasing Grand Theft Auto IV for year-end broadcast

National Public Radio is taking a mental holiday on December 31, 2008, with most of its shows airing 2008 highlights and recaps.

For the year ender of Talk of the Nation (check local listings for broadcast times), hosted by Neal Conan, NPR has been promoting a pop culture recap featuring a mention of Grand Theft Auto IV among the segment’s many topics. Even more interesting, one of the on-air promos included a clip from G4′s Adam Sessler, co-host of game news show XPlay.

I’m not certain if Sessler will actually be on the show (most likely a clip from a previous interview on NPR) but the fact that NPR is even thinking about video games makes portions of my brain giggle with intellectual glee.
