Mirror's Edge
So, I know you may be getting a little weary of year end lists, but this one’s unique enough to warrant a second look. The Video Game Age awards – by Game People doesn’t rate by the usual criteria – instead, it aims to choose the best games for different age groups. Divided into everything from infants to senior citizens, the games were taken from a pool of nominations that were deemed fit for their respective age/skill groups.

And the winners are:

Infants: Family Ski Wii
Juniors: Mario and Sonic at the Olympics Wii
Students: Super Smash Brothers Brawl Wii
Workers: Mirror’s Edge PS3
Parents: Sing Star PS3
Seniors: Gran Turismo 5 Prologue PS3

Really, there’s good, solid stuff in every category, even the “parent” and “senior” sections. It just goes to further prove that gaming is a hobby for all ages, not just punky teenagers and 30-something geeks.
