This game was nearly impossible to find after its initial release back in September 2004. However, in 2008, Atlus decided to quench players’ thirsts for this game by re-releasing it in considerable quantities. If you’ve been pinching your pennies in order to save up for your very own copy, now is better than ever to finally add this worthy contender to your collection.
Much like the previous games in the SMT series, Nocturne utilizes a uniquely dark atmosphere to set itself aside from most other turn-based roleplaying games. The player assumes control of a half-human half-demon young man who gets whisked away to a hellish dimension in order to prevent the destruction of both the mortal and demonic worlds or bring about their apocalypses. Along the way, the man character can converse and negotiate with a multitude of demons and persuade them to partake in battles to ensure his survival.
