There’s extra love in Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 1st Love Plus

Konami is enticing all otome fans to shell out cash for a game they may already own with Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 1st Love Plus (TMGS).

The original Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 1st Love was released in March 2007 and, now, exactly two years after its initial release on the Nintendo DS, players will be able to experience this cult classic with full voice acting (which was missing in the previous version). This updated version is currently scheduled for release on March 12, 2009, for the Nintendo DS (again) at 5250 yen (approx. US$53).

This update will also feature a brand new voice record feature that enables fans to whisper sweet nothings into their prospective stud’s ear during intimate date sequences.

Pre-orderers may receive a bonus deluxe CD (clocking at 60 minutes) that promises oodles of voiced confessions straight from the game as well as the ending songs from TMGS 1st Love and TMGS 2nd Season. However, for now, it seems as though this CD may only be offered to those who pre-order the game directly from Konami.

I would suggest keeping your eyes peeled on popular importing sites such as PlayAsia, J-List and YesAsia, as they may offer this special insert at a later date.
