Poor Momo has been separated from his one true love, a little girl who happens to be his owner. But Momo isn’t the kind of squirrel to let that get him down. He’s going to find his owner, and go through over 20 different areas to get back to her. You control Momo using the mouse in the game, choose whether to go through light or dark areas, earn different Momo’s Quest wallpapers depending on how well you do and even see different endings based on what choices you make for Momo. It really sounds quite well-rounded.
There’s an official RotoAdventures Momo’s Quest trailer as well, which does a wonderful job of showing just how beautiful this game looks:
I’ve got to say, it looks gorgeous. RotoAdventures Momo’s Quest is easily one of the best looking indie games I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t even imagine how long it must have taken to make, since everything is drawn by hand. It was worth it though.
As usual, per computer games, there is a free demo available so you can try out the game before you go spending $19.95 on it. It was created for both Macs and PCs, so no one gets left out this time. As long as you have Windows 98 or better or OS X 10.4 or better, you’ll have no problem playing RotoAdventures Momo’s Quest.
