NinjaTrickSocial networking sites are becoming a bit of a haven for casual gamers, and many companies are taking advantage of that and creating games exclusively for MySpace or Facebook. CyberAgent America is ready to jump on the bandwagon with a new Facebook casual, massive multiplayer online action game called NinjaTrick.

The goal of the game is to basically be a ninja and sabotage or defeat other players to show who’s the best. The game won’t be completed and ready until sometime in February, 2009 though, so for now you’ll have to just wait and sign up for updates via email at the NinjaTrick website.

All the action takes place in the virtual Ninja City. You can try to find gems in your environment, getting more than the other players, battle one on one or team up to take down another ninja team. Your ninja avatar is also customizable, and you can purchase new equipment or items to change your look.

There’s a trailer too. You might not get much out of it though. I know all it did was disappoint me.

Okay, I read through the press release before visiting the official site or watching the trailer, and this isn’t what I expected at all. As I read the press release, I was imagining something reminiscent of a Shinobi game. Or maybe something like that old NES Spy Vs. Spy game. I certainly wasn’t expecting Gaia Online/Zwinky reenacts Beverly Hills Ninja.
