See if you’re devious enough to crawl to the top in The Mastermind Deluxe Edition

Even if you played The Mastermind before, you may be still be surprised by the just released The Mastermind Deluxe Edition. Total Gameplay Studio’s just released the upgraded and enhanced version of the Windows game. So if you have $9.99 burning a whole in your pocket, you can take a chance and see if you’re up to living the life of a criminal overlord.

The deluxe version of The Mastermind is about more than cosmetic changes, though the game has been refined so it looks much better and is easier to navigate. Three difficulty levels (easy, normal and hard) are included, so you can gradually try the title and figure which is the best fit for your playing style. You can also win the game in three different ways – you can create a monopoly, take out all other criminal organizations through gang wars or get 15,000 wealth points.

It’s interesting, because these options make the game seem much more realistic. After all, not all real criminal masterminds got to where they are by being thugs and focusing on one kind of criminal activity. I’m especially intrigued by the ability to win by just being the wealthiest – the press release even states that this method is achieved by running legitimate businesses and only going for the classiest and most expensive items.

The Mastermind Deluxe Edition is only for users with Windows PCs. Specifically, you’ll need Windows 2000 or better. There’s also a free demo, so you can sample before you invest in this endeavor.
