Rumor: Nintendo Acció magazine scans suggest another Mario & Sonic game

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games was one of the biggest selling games for the Wii and DS in the United Kingdom after selling close to 2 million copies across both consoles since release. It is without a doubt a big hit among consumers so a sequel would be the next logical step.

Nintendo has yet to confirm a follow-up to the game but scans acquired by Revo Gamers says Nintendo Acció magazine promises to reveal a new Mario & Sonic game in its next issue.

Our Spanish isn’t what it used to be but the scan includes words such as “games,” “winter,” “Olympics” and “cold.” This suggests that perhaps a winter version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is in the works. Seeing how the summer Olympics wrapped up not too long ago, we may have to wait several months before this baby hits the stores.

Until Nintendo confirms that it is indeed making this game, we’re throwing this in the rumor section until further notice.
