Destructoid is reporting on Ubisoft’s official announcement that a new TMNT game is in the works for the Nintendo Wii. According to a very enthusiastic press release, the game will be developed by Super Smash Bros. Brawl dev Game Arts, and is meant to commemorate the Turtles’ 25th anniversary. The few screens look fairly brawler or fighter-like, but the graphics look pretty nice for a Wii title. I know that’s a cliche, but truth is truth.
Wow – has it really been 25 years? It seems like only yesterday I was running around my preschool playground, playing as April. This was in the pre-girl turtle days, kids. Check back for more updates as they come in.
