For example, the figures are now on a 1/4 inch thick slab of chocolate, so they don’t shatter in transit. They also have little pink sugar hearts on their chests, instead of Red Hot hearts. The little Chocomiis are also each in their own, sealed tray insert this year, as opposed to last year’s bubble wrap. The trays are then inserted into boxes that read on the top, “Wii belong together, you and Mii.” Also, $1 from every order is donated to Child’s Play. You’ll also be able to track your Chocomii’s voyage after they ship, and the recipient will have to sign for them.
The Chocomiis cost $10, and shipping costs $9, $18, or $35, depending on the option you choose. There are only 1,000 boxes this year, and once those are gone, there are no more Chocomiis.
Like Technabob pointed out, there’s no information on the Chocomii page this year to tell you how to send images of your Miis to get an exact likeness. So the option to have exact replicas of your Miis is out of the question this year. Paul Pape Designs does offer Mii figurines or wedding cake toppers though, in case you want to make a more durable, long lasting, representation of love.
