Harmonix and MTV games announced on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, that it will be releasing six new tracks for download for the Wii release of Rock Band.
All these tracks were previously released to the Xbox 360 and PS3. Harmonix plans to eventually release all the songs available for the other systems to the Wii. You can get these songs at Rock Bands music store catalog of downloadable content. The price is $2 per song (200 Wii points) and you can get them on the Wii Shop channel.
The tracks include:
“Siva” – Smashing Pumpkins
“Just What I Needed” – The Cars
“Tell Me Baby” – Red Hot Chili Peppers
“Gimme Three Steps” – Lynyrd Skynyrd
“Live Forever” – Oasis
“Attack” – 30 Seconds to Mars
Rock Band and Rock Band 2 are rated “T” for Teen (lyrics, suggestive themes) by the ESRB.
