Let me preface this by saying that I do not subscribe to Star magazine. OK, so I get it in the mail but the company that owns it is sending complimentary issues because another magazine – Radar - that I had cashed in my Delta Sky Miles to get for free has since been canceled. Yet another victim of this crappy economy (or lack of paid subscriptions?).
In the latest issue of Star there is a quick nugget about US President Barack Obama titled “President Obama: Gamer In Chief” (image above).
Rarely ever able to reveal a “source,” Star is claiming that Obama is a gamer. No, this isn’t a rehash of Obama’s much-reported Wii purchase.
Instead, it’s embracing his use of his BlackBerry which he supposedly had to give up after taking office. Instead, Obama plays the BlackBerry version of the Breakout-style game, BrickBreaker, each night before going to bed.
See, yet another reason to like this guy (assuming it’s true, of course).
