The DS Lite green spring bundle is being strategically released just before Mother’s Day (May 10, 2009). It includes a lime green DS lite, a copy of the Touch Generations game Personal Trainer: Cooking and a stylish green and white DS carrying case. Kind of a cute ensemble, if I do say so myself. Normally, I’m not particularly partial to green, but the shade used for the system and case is rather appealing.
Amazon already has a listing up for the newest bundle and is accepting preorders. The product listing states that the bundle is going to cost $149.99. That’s $20 less than a DSi, in case you were wondering.
The bundle isn’t a bad deal, when you think about it. A DS will cost you $129.99. Personal Trainer: Cooking costs $19.99. A nice carrying case for the system can cost between $9 and $15 dollars, maybe even more. So this bundle is $149.99 as opposed to at least $159.99. So you could be saving anywhere from $10 to possibly $30.
The lime green DS is only being offered with the bundle. If you like the color, you better start saving up for one.
