Spirited Heart is an awesome, indie simulation game. Awesome, but also incredibly challenging. Beginners can easily find themselves frustrated by expensive classes, relentless taxes and seemingly unrealistic job requirements.
That’s where this guide comes in. Initially, Spirited Heart is difficult, but with a little perseverance and quick thinking, you can find fairytale endings for every character you raise. The key is to think strategically and know what you want for your characters. If you set a goal and begin creating a game plan, you’ll have a better chance of being successful.
- Choose the Noble Family to raise your character. Noble characters start off the game with the most money, which means you can pay to train skills and build up your character’s attributes quicker.
- Splurge before you have to pay the tax on your earnings. Every three months, taxes are due. Keep track of when tax day is coming up. Then, the week before they’re due, splurge on attributes or a trip. The tax applies to the total amount of money you have, not what you made. So, you’ll only have to give the King a few pieces of gold. If you time things correctly, you could end up owing nothing.
- Focus on building stats for the Advanced Job. Once you get an Advanced Job, you get a lot more money. Plus, after maxing out the stat associated with an Advanced Job, you’ll get a bonus each time you perform it. You can then use the extra money you’ve earned to build up your other attributes and skills in the Train Skills section.
- When looking to marry off a character, earn the attribute stats (and then some) for the Advanced Job relating to the guy before visiting their Basic Job location. You can trigger random events for Thofte, Ramas, Janimee, Mgorem and at practically any age, so long as you visit that job. Be advised: I’m not sure if this applies to Frebo, as I haven’t successfully married off a character to him.
The Basic Jobs for the suitors (except Ramas) don’t boost the attributes needed to perform the Advanced Jobs they appear at, so it’s quicker to unlock the Advanced Jobs, then visit the guys at the Basic Jobs. Ramas is the only character who defies this, as the Guard job does boost Concentration, which is one of the attributes needed to unlock the Smith job.
Here’s a quick cheat sheet regarding the suitors:
- Ramas: Basic Job – Guard, Advanced Job – Smith
- Thofte: Basic Job – Farmer, Advanced Job – Gardener
- Janimee: Basic Job – Waitress, Advanced Job – Sexy Girl
- Frebo: Basic Job – Schoolgirl, Advanced Job – Wizard
- Mgorem: Basic Job – Maid, Advanced Job – Soldier
- Yuza: Basic Job – Tailor, Advanced Job – Cook
- Save often. If you don’t do particularly well in a job or at a class, you can always try reloading to see if you’d get different results. Also, if you save at every break, you don’t have to worry about making a bad decision when a random event pops up.

So far I had her marry Thofte, Yuza and Janimee. Somehow I missed Frebo! He said he had to go to the front lines (my character was like… 26 then) and then I never saw him again!
It's a great game and all!
… But…
By Frebo, when I finally become a wizard, I like talk to him until he says he has to go to a war, and when I was an elf, I asked if I should come as well, he replied "No, I'll be to worried."
After that, he never returned. Anyone help me, please?
@ Liiiine: The same thing happened to me, however Jessi (who commented above) was able to get his ending. Apparently, you have to get that scene before you turn 26 years old. Perhaps when your character is 24 or 25.
Ooooh.
Sorry, wasn't really paying attention. ^^" Thank you.
Challenging? I just spent 15 minutes clicking "repeat last job" and everything turned out perfectly. This game is the absolute worst Princess Maker clone I've ever played. If you've played PM2 to death and need to support an indie clone, just go with Cute Knight and be done with. At least that one has a little bit of substance.
"The Basic Jobs for the suitors (except Ramas) don’t boost the attributes needed to perform the Advanced Jobs they appear at, so it’s quicker to unlock the Advanced Jobs, then visit the guys at the Basic Jobs."
I don't quite understand this part. Am I supposed to boost the attributes needed for the Advanced Job the guy I like will go to or not?
@ Joy: Exactly. Boost your character's stats so they'll fulfill the requirements of the advanced job. Then go to the basic job to unlock your first 3-4 visits with him. Then head to the advanced job to start seeing him again.
Now I understand. Thanks a lot. ^^
huh? can someone help me too i think that i got the part of frebo when he says he has to go to war at the age of mine at 20 years old? is it normal or not normal? or do i still have to get that part on the age 24 or 25? and when will he come back will he come back at the age of 26 or 27 or 28?
CAN SOMEONE HELP.
wait…… i see. when i read the comment of Joy and Jenni i understand now i told frebo i should come with him he said he is too worried then at the age of 26 i came back as a school girl then there are like 3 events happened to me. first: i saw Frebo came back and i told him to use his own money to do the experiment. second:Frebo told me to come with him with his magician friends third:he gave me an invitation to see a show and that is the time he told me to be his girlfriend so i accepted.
and i finally married Frebo.
the game is really hard when you need to marry frebo.
lol, i managed to marry all of them lol !
How did u manage to marry Mgorem?
After he's "taken my sword" he disappeared.. And I can't find him anywhere now.
FINALLY! I mannaged to marie Mgorem and the human girl,… but i cant make the elf girl in to a solider, and the demon girl is a total s*$%# when she talks to him xD
I managed to Marry Frebo! Same way as you marry anyone. I was the elf, dunno if that mattered. He is a jerk and cheats on you lol.
oh and thanks to your guide i managed to marry everyone but Janimee, Yuza, and Ramas…they are next! Even though Ramas seems like a jerk…
oh wait i did marry Yuza…he was the first one!
yeah you probably waited to long. He said that to me too, but then he came back later
yeah it's all about timing! you have to make sure you are in the right place at the right time or else you miss your chances
I like the demon chick, but she does start out kind of mean. My question is, I got her engaged to Mgorem but how do you get them to be married? How do you raise the heart levels? Are there no more random encounters once they're engaged, you just have to relax places together or do the "Spend time together" thing? Cause I haven't noticed the "Spend time together" option affecting heart levels at all.
Thanks.
RKM
the spend time with them thing does work you just have to do it a few times to see improvement
like i do my job then go spend time with them then do the job again, and so on…until all the hearts are filled
ViolentDeeDee
i managed to get him to marry the elf girl, though with her stats its super hard
Ramas was my fav to marry
I really luv this game i've got the demo verson though so i can't go past 20 years. I was wondering whether it is really worth buying or if there is a better game. I want a life simulation lke this but i want to be able to keep me entertained for a fairly long time. I know i depends on how much u play it but if there are like 20/30 set endings and then thats that it's not about to keep me a long time, i play these game A LOT. I've played cute knight as well that seems good too.
I would really appreciate some help XP
SHaeart: I'd say it's worth buying. I really loved it. And now there's a deluxe version (which is the same price as the original) which makes it even better.
Yeah ok. Thanks 4 the advice – it is awsome that the deluxe's the same price as the original! XD
With frebo i think you have to do all of the school cut scenes before going on to doing wizard ones otherwise when he goes to war he doesn't love you enough to bother coming back
the last school one i think is the one where you clean his room.
i've only managed to marry him with the elf.. it does say that he prefers elves so may be easier that way :s struggling with the human
got frebo to come back at age 26!
took 3 years..
hope that helps
if anyone needs help please email me ^_^ blackfire182@msn.com
just had to go back to the school and study there because i missed some cut scenes
Nice game
Thanks for guide. It's really great. Sadly the game is not so good. The only one cool guy was Mgorem. Rest of boys are mean or siply stupid. And all this clicking was driving me crazy. But drawings were good.
is there somewhere wher i can get a 1hour trial instead of a few months of it or buying the game?
Please someone tell me how to actually marry someone on Spirited Heart!
I've moved into the pub with Janimee.
But I don't know how to actually do it!
OH MY GOD!!!
OH MY GOD!!!
I JUST SUCCESSFULLY MARRIED JANIMEE!
-Sam
I agree with Sunflower, Mgorem is the coolest guy of the six.
I managed to marry him off to the human girl. But when I played the demon's version, after he took my sword, he never appeared again….Can anyone help me with this problem?
It's so annoying though, every job I get, it always turns out bad! I hardly ever get paid and it's incredibly frustrating that she keeps whining about how much she needs a "vacation". Ugh! My character is like 23 and I have hardly gotten anywhere with any of the guys so far. Maybe I just have bad luck or something. -_-;
how many events are there for the basic job and advanced jobs? I had my humans character get 3 cutsceens with the farmer guy then started work as and gardener (my character is 22) and no matters which job I do I've never seen him since!!
I've just married Yuza with my elf character at age 21!!! I know right?????
Yay! Maybe there IS still hope for my poor little demon! Im trying to marry her to Frebo, I keep practically raping him but he went off to war and its now three years so im hoping he comes back soon. Ive also married the elf to Mgorem, you just have to pick which guy you want in the begining and work for all his advanced job skills so you can see him and get him to purpose faster!

If you chose the second choice to cry (if your an elf) he should have told you he took it to have your name ingraved on it
so sweet
I took me one try each for all six of the marriage endings.
for the demon
I have recently been playing Spirited Heart. I am still a newbie with this game, but so far …
At a glance: The game mechanics of Spirited Heart should be fairly familiar to those who have also played Princess Maker series.
It is a decent time-killer game for those who like stat-grinding and like to try out various time & resource management to attempt different endings. However, it is not recommended for those who prefer something fast-paced with lot of actions.
My very first attempt was to start out with a demon girl named Zeldra from farming background. This game ended rather quickly as she became a legendary chef before she even turned 25! Unfortunately, it was too short for her to develop relationship, although she managed to become engaged to Yuza. I thought Yuza was a pretty cool and nice guy for a demon boy. If I had played little differently, she could have become a researcher (she had the required stats) and got acquainted with Frebo.
I think the first couple of years can be a bit pain in the rear-end as one must do quite a bit of job-rest-job-rest grinding and saving games frequently.
I tried Spirited Heart because of its good reviews.
I had played the Frebo ending with the elf girl and it's kinda boring.
Otome games such as X-Note, Frozen Essence and (P)lanets is more of my idea of fun.
Just an opinion.
