Boom Box Bash Party to launch May 19, 2009

I’m of the opinion that Boom Blox is one of the very best original Wii games (not counting all the remakes, Wii-makes, new play control versions and reissues of older titles), so I’m very pleased to announce that it’s sequel, Boom Blox Bash Party, will be here very shortly. On May 19, 2009, (May 29, 2009 for Europe) the new game will grace us with tons of new levels (400, according to trailers) and features that build on the first game’s excellent motion controls. I’m anticipating more throwing, Jenga-style pulling, crazy puzzle solving, and wacky creature-saving on the 19th.

The coolest part? The new online features. The new title promises the ability to build and share levels (think LittleBigPlanet lite). EA has just launched a new site to hype the game, complete with some very cool little preview features, so if you’re half as excited as I am, you’ll eat it up.
