Activision announces artists appearing in Guitar Hero 5

We don’t exactly know what tracks will be appearing in Guitar Hero 5, but we do know who’ll be performing them. Activision has just announced all of the artists appearing in the game. Based on the initial information, which can also be viewed at the Guitar Hero 5 website, it will be the most diverse Guitar Hero game so far.

We also now know the release date for the Guitar Hero 5. It will be out September 1, 2009 for the PS2, PS3, Xbox 30 and Wii. A prospective price hasn’t yet been revealed.

I’d like to make a guess at one of the songs! Since the list specifically says Queen & David Bowie, I’m going to guess that “Under Pressure” will be one of the Guitar Hero 5 tracks.
