E3 2009: EA press conference wrapup

EA LogoEA covered a lot of bases during its E3 2009 press conference. From casual games aimed towards young girls, sports games and action titles. Among the biggest games shown were Mass Effect 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Need for Speed Shift.

One surprise was that Fight Night Round 4 will be released one week ahead of schedule on June 25, 2009. Also, rock stars including Lemmy Kilmister, Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne will be lending their likeness to Brutal Legend.

  • The Sims 3 launches on June 2, 2009
  • Littlest Pet Shop Friends and Littlest Pet Shop online launches Fall 2009
  • Four Charm Girl’s Club game launch Fall 2009
  • Dragon Age: Origins launches October 20, 2009
  • Mass Effect 2 launches early 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC
  • Fight Night Round 4 launches June 25, 2009
  • EA Sports MMA launches in 2010
  • EA Sports Active expansion launches this holiday season
  • Brutal Legend launches October 13, 2009
