Mimobot’s making a fancy Hello Kitty USB Flash drive

The drives will be available early September 2009, pre-empting Hello Kitty’s 35th Anniversary on November 1, 2009.
The drives will feature Hello Kitty imagery and range in capacity from 2 GB to 16 GB. As with Mimobot’s earlier themed drives (eg Halo), each will come pre-loaded with wallpapers, screensavers, icons, avatars, videos and “other digital surprises.” The site currently shows a red drive but that doesn’t mean other colors will not be available.
Prices have not yet been announced but the drives will be sold online at Mimobot‘s site, Sanrio‘s site and select retail outlets.
Mimobot plans to also release other Sanrio-themed Flash drives including Badtz-Maru, My Melody, Kuromi, Keroppi Chococat, and TuxedoSam.
