Even if you’ve already preordered the game somewhere else, or aren’t certain whether you’d want to buy it, be sure to stop by. The store is going to be decorated for the event, kiosks will be set up with Muramasa: The Demon Blade for people to sample, there will be artists who will write people’s names in kanji, there will be people in costume, an I AM 8-BIT photo-op stage and lots of Muramasa-themed souveniers. The experience could convince you to take a chance on the game. Besides, it’s free.
If you’re planning to attend, try and make your way to the Nintendo World Store before the event. There are 10% off discount coupons you can pick up to use at the release party on Saturday.
For those who can’t make it to the event, the game comes out September 8, 2009 and costs $49.99. There’s still time to preorder it from Amazon, where it’s $46.99 and comes with a pre-order poster.
