For those of us not lucky enough to live near the Nintendo World Store, here’s a friendly reminder to check in with your local game shop to see if they’ve received the absolutely gorgeous 2D side-scroller, Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Muramasa follows the stories of Kisuke and Momohime as one fights amnesia and desire and one fights demonic possession.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade is set for release today, September 8, 2009, for $49.99.
Why Vanillaware choose the Nintendo Wii to release this game on is beyond me but, if you happen to own a Nintendo Wii, are a fan of Odin Sphere and generally enjoy feudal-era Japanese folklore, then I strongly suggest you check this game out. Then thank Ignition Entertainment for picking the game up when XSEED dropped it.
Be sure you check in early since it seems some stores have disregarded the release date and have been selling the games as soon as they come in.
