Black Friday 2009: Nexon games’ cash shops offer discounts

Black Friday is a good way to take care of your friends and family, but perhaps not so good for internet buddies. After all, you may just be fellow guild members in an MMO, or close enough to want to give a gift, but not actually buy it and mail it out. If you and your online friends play one of Nexon’s free-to-play MMOs, then you’re covered.

Nexon has just announced that the cash shops for Combat Arms, Dungeon Fighter Online, MapleStory and Mabinogi will all have sufficient discounts and sales in each shop. Each games’ cash shop sale will be different though.

Combat Arms will have a Black Friday sale running from November 27-29, 2009. Grenades and some other weapons will be discounted, and there will be a few special bundle sales that will allow players to pick up more in-game weapons and armor than usual for a fraction of the price.

Dungeon Fighter Online‘s Black Friday sale begins tomorrow, November 25, 2009, and lasts until December 1, 2009. Since it is the newest Nexon game, its only appropriate that a Beginner’s Package bundle, filled with potions, life tokens and storage, will be one of the sale items. Avatar Tokens, which give you a random avatar item, will also be on sale.

MapleStory will be running an online sale from Black Friday, November 27, 2009, until Cyber Monday, November 30, 2009. Each day different items will be on sale for a limited time. The sales will run from 8am-11am PST, 11am-2pm PST and 2pm-5pm PST from Friday to Sunday, and on Monday will run from 8am-11am PST and 11am-2pm PST. Be sure to be at the cash shop during those periods of time, as the items discounted will be limited.

Mabinogi will be having a very low key sale running from November 26-30, 2009. Many of the in-game cash shop items will be discounted. You’ll have to log into the game on one of those days and check out the sales for yourself.
