The front page of the ad displays the store’s only two major video game sales from December 6-12, 2009. First, Big Lots is carrying the Guitar Hero: World Tour bundle, that includes the game and a guitar, for $39.88. The normal price on that bundle is typically $59-69, depending on what store you’re at. Big Lots also has discounted four kinds of Wii peripherals, a dual charger for remotes, a 6-in-1 remote sports peripheral pack, boxer gloves and a rechargeable battery pack for the balance board. All four of the peripherals are $16 each, and normally cost $20-24.99.
If you’re interested, I recommend visiting your local Big Lots as soon as possible. The stock at Big Lots isn’t always the same, as the store seems to carry discounted overstock items. So if you don’t go and get these items this week, they probably won’t be there.
You could even find discount games or accessories for other systems. I remember the last time I stopped by my local Big Lots, which was about three weeks ago, the store was carrying two-packs of PlayStation 2 games. So even if you’re not shopping for a Wii owner, it could be worth it to just check and take a peek inside.
