Today (December 16, 2009), Square Enix announced the kickoff of the application process for beta testing on Final Fantasy XIV. Interested gamers should go over to the official website: Final Fantasy XIV to apply.
From the press release:
“By taking part, applicants will be one step closer to obtaining a sneak peek at one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2010, and the unknown realm of Eorzea.
FINAL FANTASY XIV is planned for simultaneous global release in 2010 on both the PlayStation 3 and PC (for Windows) platforms, with language support in Japanese, English, French and German.”
You heard it – head over now if you’re a Final Fantasy fan. By the way, I still can’t get over the use of the word “final” in one of the most prolific series in all of gaming history. How many sequels will come out before the fantasy is truly “final”? Inquiring minds want to know.
