Target’s after Christmas video game sales

This Sunday’s paper contains Target’s after Christmas sale flier, and if you’re looking to spend any gift cards or Christmas cash on video games, you may want to stop by between December 27, 2009 and January 2, 2010. Target may not have any substantial discounts on systems after the holidays, but there’s a great assortment of games on sale.

First, Target has eight major video games on sale for $39 that normally cost either $49.99 or $59.99. If you have a Wii, you can pick up Mario Kart Wii, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage with the Target exclusive DVD, Wii Sports Resort, Madden NFL 10, NBA 2K10 and James Cameron’s Avatar the Game. PS3 and Xbox 360 owners’ choices are a little more limited, as they can only choose from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Madden NFL 10, NBA 2K10 and James Cameron’s Avatar the Game.

Target has also announced a 50% video game clearance. An exact number of sale games isn’t stated, just that there will be “dozens of titles.” A few specific games are shown in the ad to give people an idea of what could be available, and are as follows:
