beatles rock band Popular music game Rock Band is getting a three pack of songs from legendary artist Paul McCartney’s latest album, Good Evening New York City. They’ll be added to the Rock Band Music Store and LEGO Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and Wii, January 5, 2010 and head to the PlayStation 3 January 7.

The songs come from McCartney’s three-night christening of New York’s Citi Field, November 17, 2009. McCartney was of course a huge part of The Beatles’ Rock Band, but New York City Pack 01 marks his solo debut in the game and includes live versions of Band on the Run, Jet and Sing the Changes. The price for each individual track is $1.99 USD and .99 UK or 160 Microsoft points per track. On the Nintendo Wii each track is $2 US or 200 Wii Points per track. The entire New York City Pack 01 will run you $5.49 USD, $2.49 UK or 440 Microsoft Points.
