This year’s International CES (January 7-10, 2010) taking place in Las Vegas, NV (USA), has once again set aside a section specifically for game companies.
Called the Gaming Showcase, the CES site is promoting it as the “largest Gaming Showcase in CES history” and will be located in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall . It will include “more than 13,000 square feet of exhibit space” and will include “gaming hardware and software – from online PC and HD gaming, plasma HDTV to surround sound and power conditioning hardware.”
The site currently lists 30 companies as part of the showcase that develop game-related hardware and software:

Note that this does not even include companies with booths in other sections that will be showing off gaming accessories (iPod Touch cases, accessories and skins, audio equipment, computer parts, etc.), several accessory companies not in the same physical area (Mad Catz and Razer) and companies that are also known for developing non-gaming electronics including Sony and Nokia. That list is much, much longer. About 300 companies longer.
