Memorex has been creating electronics accessories and electronics for a long time but mainly focused on audio and visual equipment and accessories. But, at CES 2010, Memorex will show off its first video game accessories. For the moment, it seems the company’s focus is on Nintendo products and the items announced include necessary equipment and useful accessories.
Memorex is mainly working on Wii accessories and equipment. Some of the equipment could be considered necessary essentials, like the $14.99 expanded range, wireless sensor bar with eight-foot charging cable, $14.00 Ni-MH rechargeable Wii Fit balance board battery with six-foot long cable, $29.99 dual controller charging kit that comes with Ni-MH rechargeable battery and $39.99 starter kit that includes a wireless sensor bar, two Ni-MG batteries, dual control charger and gold-plated component cable.
Some Wii extra equipment, which probably aren’t essential but undoubtedly helpful, include a $34.99 Wii Fit fitness starter kit that comes with a balance board cover, mat and rechargeable battery, a $14.99 Wii Fit mat, a $14.99 protective balance board cover, a $9.99 MotionPlus Wii remote and Nunchuk sleeve and a $9.99 Wii racing wheel peripheral.
Memorex will also be developing accessories for the DS and DSi. The first item is a 3-in-1 car charger that works with the DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL and will cost $9.99. The second is a $9.99 DSi case that holds your console, three games and a stylus. Memorex will also release DS starter kits with Memorex CB 25 Earbuds, stylus kits and screen protector kits for the DS.
If you’re interested, you’ll have to wait a while to actually buy the Memorex peripherals. The items won’t be released until Spring 2010.
