Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Kaz Hirai explained the reason for this delay is so that the controller can take better advantage of more varied titles that will be released in Fall 2010. Hirai also said Sony is working closely with third party developers and publishers to create games that take advantage of the motion controller.
This new release date the PS3 motion controller side by side with Microsoft’s Project Natal which is expected to ship during the holiday season of 2010. As of now a price for either device has not been announced or suggested by the companies.
