There’s good news for PS3 owners who own Bayonetta. Well, it’s good as long as you happen to live in North America or Europe and have some hard drive space free on your PS3. Sega has just released a Bayonetta update patch which will automatically be downloaded and installed the next time you pop Bayonetta into your system.
The patch was created in response to players’ complaints about Bayonetta‘s loading times. Once the patch has been installed, an “Install” option will be added to the main menu. You can then install the game to your PS3 to improve your playing experience. Yay for shorter loading times!
This is great news for residents of North America and Europe who happen to own Bayonetta. As Joystiq mentioned, Sega announced that the patch would be made available for the Japanese version of the game, but didn’t make any mention of a worldwide release.
So, have any Gamertell readers with Bayonetta performed the install? How much space did it take up, and did it make a significant difference in loading times?
