Interestingly, there’ll be multiple ways for PC and PS3 owners to acquire Episodes from Liberty City. You can purchase GTA: Episodes from Liberty City on a PC or PS3 disc. In this form, it’s a stand alone game. You could also download the two episodes, “The Lost and Damned” and “The Ballad of Gay Tony,” individually as digital downloads. If you choose the download option, you have to actually own Grand Theft Auto IV to play the add-on episodes.
A price hasn’t been announced yet, but the Xbox 360 version costs $39.99. That should give you some idea of what to expect to pay. Episodes from Liberty City was originally released October 29, 2009, so PC and PS3 owners didn’t have to wait to long for their opportunity to play through the additional stories.
