Who’s ready for some ridiculously cheap Sam & Max? The correct answer is, of course, “Me! Me me me me!” Telltale Games has just announced a drastic discount on Sam & Max Season 1, where you can get the PC version of the full six episode adventure for only $4.95. Normally, the full season costs $29.95. It’s a limited time deal though, and will only be in effect until January 31, 2010.
Based on the webpage announcing this fantastic deal, it’s all part of a Telltale Games promotion to promote new Sam & Max adventures that’ll be out sometime in 2010. But that’s just a guess based on the whole, “What’s next for Sam & Max? 2010″ banner in that huge font on the page.
Maybe I’m just being optimistic, but perhaps Telltale Games is working on Sam & Max Season 3 for a 2010 release? The timing seems about right. Sam & Max Save the World was released from October, 2006 to April, 2007. And Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space was released from November, 2007 to April, 2008. If anything, we’re overdue for some Sam & Max Season 3 goodness.
