There’s still hope for Vicky! With the player’s help, and a mysterious girl, Vicky can nurture her talents and learn the same magic and skills that the rich girls who can afford witch school know. She may even end up being the only witch with the ability to save the town.
Natsume also released screenshots, which confirm Witch’s Witch is a localization of a Japanese game by Tryfirst called Majo ni Naru. It was released June 11, 2009, and even had some voice acting during certain scenes, with established voice actress Mamiko Noto voicing the main character Bitte (Vicky). I’m pleasantly surprised to see Majo ni Naru get localized. When I first heard about it from reading Famitsu, I couldn’t help thinking how adorable and cute it looked!
It looks really cute, and like it could end up being a great game for girl gamers. I’m sure it’d be much better choice for a little girl than one of those Imagine or Petz games.
