Trauma Team Orthopedics

If you’ve been eagerly anticipating performing all kinds of invasive and life-saving operations and treatments on your Wii with Trauma Team, you may want to sit down for the latest news. Are you sitting down? The game has been delayed. Calm down, it’s isn’t too dire. Instead of being released April 20, 2010, it’ll instead be in stores on May 18, 2010. It’s almost exactly a one month delay. Pretend Trauma Team doctors got invited to some ritzy, extended golf outing, if you think it will help you cope.

In the meantime, another entry in Atlus’ Trauma Team walkthrough series of trailers, which looks at each of the specialties players will get to practice, has been released. This time we look at Orthopedic surgeries players will get to perform as Dr. Hank Freebird. The video gives some examples of the kinds of procedures you’ll have to perform, and how you’ll be using the Wii remote and nunchuk to do so.

Try not to be too disheartened by the delay. After all, both March and April were getting pretty crowded in terms of major video game releases. Think of Trauma Team now as a way to brighten up the month of May!
