One of the new features in Mass Effect 2 is being able to customize your armor. You can buy separate pieces of armor and color them with limited freedom. I wanted to add a little more style to Shepard and tailored him a suit of armor that fits his personality.
As you can see from the picture above, Ace Shepard is a fan of Iron Man. When he’s not destroying Geth or hitting on shipmates, you can find him reading futuristic Marvel comic books and dreaming of a time when armor wasn’t so commonplace. Ace Shepard realizes that Tony Stark and War Machine are long dead and he’s the only one that can take up their mantel. Ace Shepard is Iron Man.
Granted this probably isn’t the most accurate recreation of Iron Man armor you can make in Mass Effect 2, and I’m pretty sure Iron Man doesn’t wear a visor, but it’s still very cool to look at. If there’s a way for PC gamers to mod the game to make truly custom armor like they did in Batman: Arkham Asylum, Mass Effect 2 will become the next big dress up game.
