The Game Audio Network Guild just announced the finalists for its 8th Annual G.A.N.G awards. The finalists will be judged and winners will be awarded during the March 12, 2010, Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco, CA (USA).
According to the press release, this year’s nominees include Assassin’s Creed 2 and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Along with other nominations, games will be judged by not only the members of G.A.N.G. but by audio industry professionals as well who will decide which game will receive the award for creativity, technical and artistic audio achievements in the world of interactive entertainment.
Presentations for Rookie of the Year Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, G.A.N.G. Recognition Awards and Student/Apprentice competition winners along with G.A.N.G. Distinguished Service Awards will also be awarded during the Game Developer’s Conference.
G.A.N.G. is a non-profit organization that was established to educate the public in regards to interactive audio through information, instructions, resources, guidance and enlightenment to content providers and listeners as well as G.A.N.G. members.
