London-based Binary Tweed be releasing a side-scrolling platformer called Clover: A Curious Tale on March 3, 2010, in conjunction with Blitz 1UP.
The Indie title is designed with watercolors, giving it a very fun and artsy feel to it. In fact, it feels like a kid designed it. The puzzles all have a political agenda to them as well.
The game is not only a platformer but also a kid-friendly puzzler. You have no lives and no health bars to deal with. Instead, you can take your time and solve the puzzles at your own pace.
You play as an Orphaned teenager named Sam who needs to find out more about the tragic events in his hometown Sanha that caused his mother’s death. You must solve puzzles and to unravel the mystery and bring this all to a close.
This game is a remake of the simply titled Clover. Blitz games studios took the feedback from the previous game and used it to improve the title. New features include: New animations for every character, new graphics, user-interface and effects, new voice acting in English, Spanish and French, new dialogue, new puzzles and side quests, context-sensitive controls, four new endings the depend on player choices and a playable epilogue.
