Nintendo downloads for March 15, 2010

Not the biggest download week for Wii and DSi owners this week. Yes, there are seven new games available, but the Virtual Console game Castlevania: Rondo of Blood is really the only thing worth downloading. The only game that comes close to possibly being worthwhile after that is Battle of Giants: Dinosaurs – Fight for Survival, and odds are DSi owners are too busy with Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver to go for that.

Here’s what I recommend – get Castlevania: Rondo of Blood if you must, and save the rest of your Nintendo points until March 22, 2010. That’s when the Wii adaptation of Cave Story will be released!

Rage of the Gladiator

Description: You’re a gladiator and you must beat up a selection of enemmies, earning poins to put towards new powers and make you even stronger. It’s all in 3D, supports the MotionPlus peripheral, has full voice acting and an additional Challenge Mode.

Genre: Sports

Players: 1-2
Description: It’s a competative target shooting game. Guess this means you’ll be using the remote as a sort of mini-light gun to take out targets.

Description: A 3D mini-golf DSi-game with 100 holes. Which makes the title seem a bit odd since the title has 101 in it.

Description: A game where you get to be one of three dinosaurs and fight to survive. You get to explore, grow, find fossils and duel friends.
