Army of Two The 40th Day

If you and your partner in co-op shooting (or the AI partner) have already blown through the latest Army of Two installment, a couple more maps and missions are on the way.

In Chapters of Deceit, game heroes Elliot Salem and Tyson Rios formulate a plan to stop the diabolical Jonah and the 40th Day Initiative attacks on already battered Shanghai. That results in two new campaign missions.

The gun-totin’ bromance begins again as these two experts-in-killing seek their own brand of justice. It doesn’t involve reading anyone their Miranda rights or letting them call an attorney, either.

As in the first Army of Two game, The 40th Day places a heavy emphasis on co-op action in its campaign mode. The game is designed so you will gain no benefit from leaving a man behind. Co-op special moves are integral to blasting through this one, a January 2010 release.

Chapters of Deceit is set for an April 1, 2010, (no fooling) release on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. It will cost 800 Microsoft Points on XBLA or $9.99 on PSN.
