The top 3 good things about the PS3 meltdown

As you probably know by now, the PlayStation Network is on the fritz. PS3 gamers (at least those with pre-slim systems) are currently suffering a gaming blackout, thanks to “PS3 Error Code 8001050F”. There’s no way to spin it positively, the situation just sucks. However, in the spirit of seeing the silver lining in all things, lets count the wonderful and/or hilarious things that’ve come out of this brief period of suffering, shall we?

1. This video was made. Beware, kids, since this guy has some strong words. But my lord, what a phenomenally angry (and unintentionally hilarious piece of work! He’s so mad that he has to put pants on – the horror!

2. Sony actually told people not to play the PS3. Did you ever think that would happen?

3. The image in this article adorned the 1Up site for a good while today. Some wondered if it would turn into a pile of ash by tonight – and that would’ve been awesome.

As of this writing, things are looking sunnier. Soon, we’ll be able to enjoy the PlayStation-y goodness again, all the more appreciative for it.
