Wasn’t it great and exciting when Valve updated Portal this week with new puzzles and a new achievement? Well, it’s happened again. Valve has issued another update for Portal today (March 3, 2010). When you start playing Portal through Stream, it’ll automatically update your game.
The Steam update description is disappointing vague, only saying, “added valuable asset retrieval.” However, it’s been discovered that the update extends Portal‘s ending. It just adds a little bit of extra footage, around 20 seconds, but that 20 seconds is quite telling.
It’s been added to YouTube already, so let’s watch!
Looks like something’s survived! So, who thinks we’ll be hearing about Portal 2 soon? I’m guessing it’ll be announced at E3 2010. Valve could announce it even sooner though!
