Shin Megami Tensei: Strange JourneyAtlus’ Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for the DS could be at your local game store, waiting for you today! Part of this dungeon crawling RPG’s charm is that you can share the demons you find or fuse in the game with others, thanks to a password system. You simply select Demon Data from the main menu, head to the Compendium, view your demons and output a password. This password can be then shared online and used multiple times, by different SMT: Strange Journey owners.

It’s no secret to anyone that I’ve been playing and loving the game over the past week, and I’ve amassed a collection of demons that I’m quite proud of. And, thanks to the password system, I can share some of my most successful fusions with Gamertell’s readers. So, here are a few demons you can check out and consider adding to your own games. To make things easier for SMT: Strange Journey players who are also visiting Atlus’ Forums for passwords, I’ll use the same format for my selections. Be advised – your main character is probably going to have to be at the same level as or higher to summon the demons below.

Megami Parvati
Light-Law

Level: 34 / HP: 304 / MP: 170
Phys: – / Gun: – / Fire: – / Ice: – /Elec: – / Wind: – / Light: Nu /Dark: -
St: 21 / Ma: 25 / Vi: 23 / Ag: 23 / Lu: 25

Megido
Mediarama
Recarm
Sabbatma
Tetraja
Makarakarn

zG3bF7NZouUCOesD
943TdDEfgJhftwdH

Cost: 13,611 Macca

Note: Great for when you need a healer in your party that can also deal and take a few hits. She’s also handy to just keep in your list of available demons, just so you can use Recarm to revive characters if they die, or Mediarama to heal everyone. I used her in both Delphinus and Eridanus.

Megami Fortuna
Light-Law

Level: 26 / HP: 233 / MP: 137
Phys: – / Gun: – / Fire: – / Ice: St /Elec: Wk / Wind: St / Light: St /Dark: -
St: 16 / Ma: 21 / Vi: 16 / Ag: 20 / Lu: 20

Magaru
Mediarama
Sukukaja
Dream Fist
Mabufu
Resist Ice

0jC4GPPJXpjP7Oku
7nE%5qSdacbBb2FB

Cost: 5,223 Macca

Note: Pretty decent damage dealer, but as time goes on she’ll have a tendancy to die pretty easily. I used her mainly in Carina and Delphinus, and dumped her from my party when I was able to fuse Parvati.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange JourneyYoma Dis
Neutral-Law

Level: 28 / HP: 244 / MP: 145
Phys: – / Gun: Wk / Fire: – / Ice: – /Elec: St / Wind: St / Light: – /Dark: -
St: 17 / Ma: 24 / Vi: 17 / Ag: 18 / Lu: 18

Magarula
Makajama
Toxic Cloud
Beserker God
Media
Charge

zJucDQMxyp-7ahS+
jxXkanR7SudpjhVM

Cost: 4,849 Macca

Note: Worth noting for the few strong magic spells and being pretty helpful to me in Delphinus, but in retrospect I wish I’d found a way to fuse her with more magic spells to make use of the strong magic stat.

Moh Shuvuu
Dark-Law

Level: 17 / HP: 157 / MP: 90
Phys: – / Gun: Wk / Fire: – / Ice: – /Elec: Wk / Wind St / Light: – /Dark: -
St: # / Ma: # / Vi: # / Ag: # / Lu: #

Garula
Dia
Needle Rush
Hama
Media

bpmtCXTti6Cn#$Kt
0pOVDOxcRpT4WpU-

Cost: 3,524 Macca

Note: I honestly never used her in battle, but if I remember right I used her for a good fusion later on. She’s a slightly improved version of the standard Shuvuu, as normal ones only have Garula and Dia as skills.

Wood Skogsra
Dark-Law

Level: 30 / HP: 253 / MP: 147
Phys: – / Gun: – / Fire: Wk / Ice: – /Elec: – / Wind St / Light: St /Dark: St
St: 23 / Ma: 22 / Vi: 16 / Ag: 22 / Lu: 17

Tarukaja
Needle Assault
Mediarama
Diarama
Sukukaja

PXE9NV%PoFfWSFbn
S7-zaJ5j746KSt8p

Cost: 6,737 Macca

Note: Very useful in Delphinus, and I even used her for a short while in Eridanus as well. A pretty good healer who’s also quite good at physical attacks.

Kishin Takeminakata
Light-Chaos

Level: 32 / HP: 309 / MP: 157
Phys: St / Gun: – / Fire: – / Ice: St /Elec: Wk / Wind: St / Light: St /Dark: St
St: 27 / Ma: 22 / Vi: 28 / Ag: 16 / Lu: 18

Garula
Zan-Ei
Preparedness
Tyranny
Charge

FbpEV69BJaVsSWk6
8DjRN7LUB2XNrrmD

Cost: 9,830 Macca

Note: This guy is actually in my party right now, and joining me on my trek through Eridanus. He’s quite possibly the strongest demon I have access to right now, and if I could find a way to refine him without the weakness to electricity, he’d be perfect. If I remember right, if you do a search for a hidden demon around Bootes you may end up battling him.

Brute Momunofu
Neutral-Chaos

Level: 23 / HP: 223 / MP: 110
Phys: St / Gun: St / Fire: – / Ice: – /Elec: – / Wind – / Light: – /Dark: -
St: 18 / Ma: 14 / Vi: 20 / Ag: 12 / Lu: 15

Charge
True Lobotomy
Tyranny
Dream Fist
Dia
Media

bvsF52NLPefamig6
2Ro4Bi%DqQRsYuLY

Cost: 3,330 Macca

Note: This dude was a member of my main party for quite a while. I used him in both Bootes and Carina. Pretty strong and solid, and the Dia and Media come in handy sometimes since he’ll survive pretty much anything and can then help heal up weaker party members.

Foul Doppleganger
Dark-Chaos

Level: 26 / HP: 232 / MP: 125
Phys: Rf / Gun: Rf / Fire: – / Ice: – /Elec: – / Wind – / Light: Wk /Dark: Wk
St: # / Ma: # / Vi: # / Ag: # / Lu: #

Makarakarn
Taunt
Rakukaja
Media
Marin Karin
Mazio

2cRGq6$AojD3Da0M
2WQR%vBYJ+CvOKAN

Cost: 4,933 Macca

Note: Pretty useful and versatile. I only used him at the very end of my time in Carina and my first fifteen minutes of exploring Delphinus though.

I also highly recommend fusing a Black Frost as soon as you’re able. I’d post my code for mine, but it’s a special fusion and it’s really more fun and fulfilling if you find can collect the demons for those on your own. If there’s enough demand in the comments though, I will update the post with the password for my Black Frost – it has Maragi and Life Drain, along with a couple other skills it normally doesn’t have.
