BlizzCon, the celebration of all Blizzard’s gaming properties and the diehard communities that love them, is coming to the Anaheim Convention Center October 22-23, 2010.
In addition to finding out the latest developments in the Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo universes, the fifth BlizzCon gaming convention offers contests, discussion panels with Blizzard developers and of course, hands-on play time with the games.
The previous BlizzCon was in August 2009 and tickets to the event sold out in minutes. Attendees were treated to inside info including the unveiling of a new playable class in Diablo III and the first public hands on with StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. They were entertained by a closing concert featuring rock superstar Ozzy Osbourne.
There will be more announcements about this year’s entertainment and surprises at the official BlizzCon site. Also, you’ll want to keep your eyes on that spot for details about ticket availability and pricing. A Battle.net account is required to purchase tickets.
While at the site, you can play the mini-game Failoc-alypse, originally designed as a diversion for people waiting to purchase Blizzcon ’09 tickets.
